Warranty / return Information


5X5 Combat Solutions warrants that all of our genuine products are free from defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty does not cover loss, theft, or any damages caused by accidents, abuse, misuse, improper handling, alterations, neglect, improper installation, or normal wear and tear. Consequential or incidental damages are not recoverable under this warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to you. If a 5x5 product has been installed in such a way that, in 5x5’s sole determina­tion, its proper function has been compromised, it is no longer covered by warranty. 5x5’s warranty only applies to original, unaltered 5x5 components. Other parts and accessories added to your knife and the knife itself are not covered by our warranty, nor are 5x5 components that have been altered or modified in any way.

Use of our products outside the scope of their intended purpose is considered abuse and is not covered by warranty. Like all tools, 5x5 products are subject to normal wear and tear. Products put to hard use for extended periods of time may eventually reach the end of their service life and should be retired from use and replaced. 


All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee unless the cause for the return is due to a manufacturing defect or the wrong item was received.  Requests for a refund must be submitted within 30 days of the original purchase date. Only items that are in the new and unused condition are eligible for return.  Please see the "Shipping to 5x5 Combat Solutions" section for details on the procedure for returning your item(s) for a refund.


If you experience difficulty installing a 5x5 product on your knife, 5x5 does provide installation services for a fee. Please contact 5x5 directly for up-to-date information on our installation fees. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges. 


Prior to sending your 5x5 product to us for warranty evaluation, you must first request a Return Authorization number by contacting us via email at: sales.5x5combatsolutions@gmail.com.  Shipments received without a Return Authorization number clearly marked on the outside of the package will not be accepted. Please pack your return carefully and include a detailed description of the problem and how it occurred. Please also provide a company or individual name, a physical return address (no P.O. boxes please), a daytime phone number, return authorization number, and proof of purchase, if available. We recommend shipping by UPS or registered mail to allow you to track and insure your shipment. 

If you are shipping a knife along with your 5x5 product, we strongly suggest that you insure your shipment for the full value of the knife and 5x5 product. 5x5 Combat Solutions accepts no responsibility or liability for lost or stolen shipments. 


This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other rights depending upon your state of residence.


By purchasing or receiving any item pro­duced by 5x5 Combat Solutions, the owner assumes the responsibility to research and comply with all applicable federal, state, local and international laws related to the import, possession, ownership, carry, shipment, transport, and use of that product. The owner expressly agrees to indemnify and hold harmless 5x5 Combat Solutions for all claims resulting directly or indirectly from the purchase, ownership, possession, transportation, or use of the item in violation of applicable federal, state and local laws or regulations. 5x5 is not liable for the misuse of any product purchased either directly from 5x5 or from a reseller. International customers are responsible for payment of all duties, taxes, and other fees related to the purchase and importation of 5x5 products.
